RewardMob (RMOB) is Where Mobile Gamers Play to Win Crypto Coins. Seriously.

This is a sponsored article.

Let’s face it – mobile users all over the world are obsessed with playing games on their phones. In fact, last year there were 2.7 billion active mobile game players who generated a collective $43.6 billion in revenue – and accounted for 47% of all gaming revenue across the entire sector. To put it simply: people love smartphone games, and the popularity is growing.

On the train, in waiting rooms, on buses and even at the dinner table, it’s clear to see that people love passing time with mobile games. I, myself, have fun and kill time on the train by rotating a few of my favorite game apps, and I’m sure you guys have at least a couple downloaded on your phones.

Now, can you imagine a world where we could play mobile games against other users all around the world and earn cryptocurrency if we win?

With the era of blockchain technology getting more and more traction, it was only a matter of time before an online gaming ecosystem like this would be created – and RewardMob (RMOB) is leading the way.

Yes – mobile game tournaments where real crypto winnings are on the table

Over the past two years, the team at RewardMob (RMOB) has been constructing a blockchain-based ecosystem where crypto tokens can be earned by winning mobile games. While it sounds like it’s a project that is all about the gamers, this platform provides a lot of financial incentives for both players and game developers.

RewardMob has two types of tournaments users can choose: free-to-play and pay-to-play (I bet you can imagine what the difference is.)

With the free games, there is no price to participate – but the users still earn RMOB tokens and other prizes if they succeed. The only catch is that whenever you open a prize to see your winnings, you are presented with some advertising offers. That’s where the prize money comes from – those ads that free players have to quickly consider. Game developers also get a piece of that ad revenue, so everyone wins.

With the pay-to-play version, players must use their tokens (that they’ve either won or purchased) in order to enter. The collective payments are what make up the prize pool – and you don’t have to watch any advertisements.

Benefits for both players and developers, and more games are on the way

One of the coolest things about this system is that you don’t buy RMOB tokens directly from the company – they have to be won or earned within the app (the app is already downloadable in the Apple App Store and Google Play).

Game developers are already working with this network. RewardMob hasn’t managed to score a partnership with Kandy Krush yet, but there’s a very good chance that it’s only a matter of time until some of the most-downloaded games enter the ecosystem.

Here are some of the game developers who have already jumped on the bandwagon:

I couldn’t go into all of the details about this mobile gaming disruptor – but there’s a lot of neat information on their whitepaper.

While their pay-to-play games aren’t launching until next quarter (which is just around the corner), they are already doing free-to-lay eSports tournaments, like this one:

Check it out, and maybe 30 minutes from now you’ll already find yourself competing for tokens.
