The Today co-anchor Hoda Kotb just revealed surprising news in the show this morning, exclaiming ‘It’s a girl’.
She surprised her co-colleagues in the morning. Hoda adopted her first daughter 2 years ago in February, she recently reported the addition of her new adoption.
Hoda’s Kotb feelings for new child:
She reported that it was a co-decision of both partners, they didn’t know but it’s something important to the couple.
The anchor was excited when she told her colleagues about the baby, she has named her new child ‘Hope Catherine’.
I felt through my heart grew ten times when I held ‘Hope’ for the first time’, she said.
She called her colleague ‘Savannah Guthrie’, interrupting the news segment when she was covering Popstar segment.
She tearfully proclaimed the entry on the new child in the family, to her colleagues.
Hoda is a 54-year-old lady, she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and due to the heavy treatment, she wasn’t able to conceive.
The official co-worker asked Hoda, ‘how’s your life with two?’, Hoda replied, the baby is lying on the pillow right now and I’m feeling her and it is really delightful, while the two co-anchors wiped their eyes.
While crying she added, ‘you think that maybe you have gotten what you deserved, but I am so happy to have Hope’.
She also shared a picture of the family. The two-year-old Haley also showed her excitement, Hoda stated, ‘Haley’s wandering around saying I am a big sister now’.
Dylan tried to tease Hoda Kotb, saying your heart has given enough, will you be able to give more, she replied, ‘you think you are full, that’s what I felt with Haley and her partner Joel and everything.
Hoda Kotb happily stated she cannot believe it’s happening, y’ all, I am happy and I can’t believe.
She shared when Haley met her new sister, she stated, Haley was downstairs and we said, ‘We have a present’. We had been telling Haley ‘Baby Hope is coming, and she literally walked to her and said, Hope!’.
